Apple iPhone 16 brightness changes unveiled

Apple iPhone 16 series is launching soon and users can’t wait to buy the new gadget.

Tim Cook’s American tech giant is going to make some display changes to the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro which will be different from the earlier models of the iPhones, according to Apple Insider.

The display is considered one of the most important parts of a smartphone. Though Apple has had generally slower year-over-year speed for upgrades but a lot of minute adjustments have been speculated so far.

Interestingly, the displays were relatively unchanged for the iPhone 15 series. This means that the iPhone 16 lineup could see prominent display upgrades, specifically with the 13-inch iPad Pro flexing with a tandem OLED display.

According to a few leaks that surfaced over the years, it has been proposed that the displays in the iPhone 16 are likely to be much brighter than earlier iPhone models.

The September 2023 leak revealed that Apple was looking into Micro Lens Array (MLA) technology. The Cupertino-based company had previously researched it, but hadn’t used it as a display.

This concept can increase the display brightness of an OLED screen with the help of micro lenses being hit by light that ends up heading towards the back panel and reflecting it forward instead.
